(1) The concerned Chief District Officer shall have the authority to initiate proceedings and dispose of cases under (g), (h), (j) or (n) of sub-section (1) of section 41.
(2) Apart from the cases mentioned in sub-section (1), the concerned district court shall have the authority to initiate and dispose of other cases under this Act.
(3) The appeal of the case initiated and set aside by the chief district officer in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be taken to the relevant district court and the appeal of the case initiated and set aside by the district court in accordance with sub-section (2) shall be taken to the relevant high court.
(4) An appeal in accordance with sub-section (3) shall be made within thirty-five days of the decision.
